OUR MISSION

The mission of The First Tee of South Los Angeles is to impact the lives of youth by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of The First Tee of South Los Angeles is to provide a vehicle to enhance youth development by creating an environment that promotes positive self esteem, academic excellence and a deep sense of responsibility through the game of golf.

Each Labor Day weekend (Aug. 31-Sept. 6, 2009), the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach presented by Nature Valley showcases the talent and character of young people who participate at The First Tee facilities worldwide.
